History

We are Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church!

We’ve been here since March, 1995.
In our society, the word “church” is commonly used to designate a building. In our congregation, we work to remind ourselves that the church is the PEOPLE, not the building where the people happen to meet.
Because of our emphasis upon people, YOU are important to us. Our desire is that you might have impressed upon you the love of Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. We gather that we might minister to the needs of people, preparing them for the challenges of the coming week. Should you be looking for a church home, we would be honored to have you consider this church yours.
Should you have some need, or desire to know more about Cornerstone, please feel free to contact us!

The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of nearly 1,400 self-governing churches throughout the United States. We are joined together by common purpose, principles, and practices. The Free Church also includes ministries worldwide in over 600 churches in 18 different countries.
Evangelical refers to our commitment to the authority of Scripture as being without error in the original writings and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and living. It also points us to Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation.
Freerefers to our form of church government, which is congregational. Free Churches depend upon the active participation of all people in the decisions and directions of the local church.

DISCOVER A PLACE

There’s something remarkably joyous about a group of good friends. They accept each other. They laugh together. They listen to one another. And they’re dependable. Cornerstone is a place for friends. Real people. Real life. Real friends.

We work at providing these places for all who come to our church. We do this through our Worship Services, our Children’s, Youth, and Adult Educational Ministries, our small groups and our various other times together. We hope you’ll join us!

A Place For Encouragement

Faced with hectic schedules, we all need an occasional "oasis" where we can relax and be refreshed. Friends, meaningful activities, and relevant messages from the Bible are like springs of refreshing water. Come and be encouraged!

A Place For Family

We all hold high hopes and dreams for our families. We want our kids to be happy and to live fulfilling lives. At Cornerstone, we think families are special. We strive to give families tools for stronger living.

A Place For Growing

Life has its challenges. Most of us feel the need for real wisdom and strength. We can discover this in a loving relationship with God and with others. Meaning, purpose, joy, forgiveness, peace... Isn't this what we all want?
