EQUIPPING THE SAINTS
FOR THE WORK OF MINISTRY
Our ministries are important to us. Through our ministries, we aim at making it abundantly clear that at Cornerstone we value the teaching of God’s Word, the study of God’s Word, equipping each other with God’s Word, and so much more. Essentially, we love God and His Word and desire to love others in and outside of the local gathered assembly! Our ministries are therefore shaped by a hunger to know God through our study of His Word and to make Him known to others by proclaiming His Word.
Outside of our Sunday morning services at Cornerstone, we do this through discipling relationships, through the various Bible studies that take place during the week, and through the missionaries we support around the world. It is our longing to equip the saints for the work of ministry and we believe the Holy Spirit is using our various ministries to accomplish this holy task.
We desire to sacrificially put others before ourselves, together live genuinely transparent lives which welcome loving sharpening, and use our gifts and abilities to serve and build up the Body of Christ in fruitful and creative ways. One of the dreams we have for our church is that every disciple is in a meaningful small group of some sort, which meets on a regular basis. A great place to start is through our Bible Studies
